AFIP ATLAS OF TUMOR PATHOLOGY

AFIP ATLAS OF TUMOR PATHOLOGY

For over 50 years this monograph series has been regarded as the bench mark of tumor pathology for both reference and textbooks.  The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, University Associated for Research and Education in Pathology, and the American Registry of Pathology editorial board enlists many of the most authoritative pathologists in the world to author each fascicle.  To assure the finest quality in illustrations, all four color separations are processed digitally at the AFIP and reviewed in house by the series coeditor.  The third series is published by the American Registry of Pathology and sold worldwide. ELECTRONIC FASCICLES (CD-ROMS)

The electronic fascicle is a CD-ROM version of the AFIP Atlas of Tumor Pathology.  It provides an interface for browsing and quickly searching text and image legends.  Images can be previewed in groups using the thumbnail (96x96 pixels) display feature, viewed with text individually in normal modes (280x230), or magnified (800x600) by double-clicking fonts, bookmarks, storage of user's annotations, program backtracking capability, dictionary of words, multibook searches, and citation searches.  The CD-ROM can be searched for words or combinations of words within the text, legends of illustrations, or references.  These hybrid discs will run on both PC and MAC formats. Click to browse the AFIP Electronic Fascicles. For more information on electronic fascicles, including a list of Frequently Asked Questions, click here.
