Hashimoto's thyroiditis : High power shows the thyroid follicular cells are enlarged with abundant
acidophilic cytoplasm and a small vesicular nucleus (Hurthle's cell or oxyphilic cell). The thyroid follicles are
markedly diminished in size and contain little amount of thyroid globulin.
