Detecting and monitoring of carcinoma of the prostate Prostatic ACP = Total ACP-ACP after tartrate inhibition ถือว่า prostatic ACP และ PSA (prostatic specific antigen) เป็น tumor markers 2. Bone diseases : Paget's disease , breast cancer with bone metastases , Gaucher's disease 3. Myelocytic leukemia , Thrombocytopenia จาก platelets ถูกทำลาย 4. Diagnosis of rape ปกติ vaginal washing มี ACP < 10 U / L แต่ postcoidal พบ ACP > 50 U / L 5. Other : hyperplasia of the prostate , prostate surgery (ค่าที่สูงขึ้นมักจะกลับเป็นปกติใน 24 ชั่วโมง) , hyperparathyroidism 6. Electrophoresis พบ ACP 5 bands คือ band 1 พบมากใน prostate มี tartrate เป็น inhibitor band 2 และ 4 มาจาก granulocytes band 3 พบมากใน normal plasma ซึ่งมาจาก platelets, erythrocytes และ monocytes band 5 พบมากใน osteoclast และมี tartrate เป็น inhibitor พบ ACP น้อยมากหรือไม่พบเลยใน lymphocyte, lymphoblasts, myeloblast และ erythroblast
